Sunday Snuggling

No pictures today. No long post. No boring thoughts from Amanda. Just an observation that makes my heart love parenthood even more on this Sunday afternoon.

Thomas loves to sleep on our chests. He lives to snuggle up in a warm little ball with his head resting on our chests and his legs all curled up and tucked underneath him. And as if that isn’t sweet enough, he will wiggle and squirm around until he gets his head right where he wants it. He has a perfect little spot that he looks for and chooses time and time again….right on top of our hearts. Thomas loves to fall asleep with his ear directly on top of our hearts where he can hear our heart beating…..and really, is there anything more innocent and precious in this world than that? No, not to me and Daniel.
